10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
on TUESDAY May 7th
ALL sections take
the exam at this date and time. Do NOT use your class lecture time to determine
your CHM 151 final exam time! Chemistry 151 has its own final exam
time.
Be aware that the final exam is timed. That is, it
will start at 10:00 am and end at 12:00 noon. No extra
time will be allowed. Plan accordingly!

CONTENT/FORMAT:
The final is comprehensive, that is it covers the material from
the entire semester. It will include questions from all of the
topics from the first 12 Chapters that were covered in class. In
addition, it will cover the following topics from Chapter 13:
solubility (like dissolves like principle), molality and
colligative properties (boiling point elevation and freezing point
depression only).
The final will
consist of 50 multiple choice questions, roughly equally
distributed over the 13 Chapters. About 2/5 of the questions
involve a calculation and 3/5 are conceptual. The final exam is
worth 20 % of your grade in the class.
