FROM THE DESK OF MS. LINDA NORTON

Dear Dr. Polly Jones:

I understand that some parents have complained about the management in my classroom. The kids are disrespectful and mean and I had never been around such behavior from teenagers and they don't seem to know how to behave in a classroom. I have a good relationship with all of my students outside of the classroom. I usually go to sport events and I live within the school district boundaries so I run into them frequently.

I really don't know what to do with the students. I need some help or assistance. I have so many duties outside the classroom that I feel rushed all the time. I feel abused, frustrated, walked on, and diminished. I need to tell you that my class is planned in detail well in advance and I go over assignments very thoroughly. Students should know what is expected of them and when things are due. I don't know what's wrong with them but I will appreciate some help.

Sincerely,

    Linda Norton.
