Once upon a time (ha)...I am Jennifer. I was born in Denver, Colorado and moved
to Yuma, AZ when I was five (many years ago). :) I have one brother seven years
older, and we were raised in a very loving, involved family. My family continues
to be the source of my strength and the reason I choose this profession. (I have
much to give because I am given much). I moved to Tucson shortly after high school
and went to school, got married, had children and, unfortunately, got divorced.
I am now back in Yuma, back in school, and have a new lease on life. This degree
will allow me the opportunity to do what I have always wanted...to make a difference
in the lives of children. I believe every child deserves the chance to grow and
succeed in life. Along with love and trust, education can be the key to open many
doors for children with disabilities. I believe I have the ability and patience
to provide children with an environment that assists them in obtaining this key.
I hope to include my hobbies and interests in their learning environment. My interests
include listening to music, caring for plants and animals, and reading good books.
I look forward to sharing more with the group, learning more about my classmates,
and growing with new ideas.
