My name is Marty Tissaw. My interests include gardening, bird-watching, travel, the outdoors, a good book and sharing these times with my family and friends. I was born in Cottonwood, Arizona but did most my growing up in Yuma, Arizona. I attended the Northern Arizona University after graduating from high school. My goal of obtaining a degree was interrupted with marriage and the beginning of my family, my daughter Jocely and my son Ian. It was after both of my children were enrolled in elementary school that I began my ten years of working as a special education teaching assistant. During this time I attended college on a part time basis. It wasn't until a year ago when both of my children were university students that I became a full time student myself. At this time I am working as a special education teaching assistant, and I am continuing my education through the D.R.E.A.M.S. program.
