During our fall term together, there will be important meetings taking place in Cancun, Mexico. The World Trade Organization will hold meetings on farming among other issues. I hope you'll keep watch and consider the language being used. Who, through their language, seems to have more of a say? Who are the protestors? What seems to be the challenge between the U.S. and the E.U.? What about the North American Free Trade Agreement? Where does Canada and Mexico stand? How do these events shape and affect the struggle for the U.S. farmer today?
