Please meet as a group and prepare to lead discussion on your given date. Use the Rhetorical Appeals of ethos, pathos, and logos to start you off. Use the 7 forms of argument as well (chronological etc.). How do the appeals affect the document (website or handout)? Who are the authors? What sort of credibility or lack of do they have? How does this affect the document? When is the document most successful? When do you think it doesn't help their overall purpose? Pay attention to language, placement of data, and images.

Be as creative as you have time for. You can start us with a lesson (ask us to do something), you can bring in examples, overheads, posterboars, handouts, images... whatever helps you get your ideas across and for us to think about the documents differently. I think we have around 20 to 30 minutes in the lab. So you can plan to show us something there, but we'll need to get back to class for the last 30 minutes. I'll double-check on this.
