OP2 is due the Wednesday of week 5 by 5 pm. Post your response at the virtual conference center. The options here reflect the theory readings and the first part of Planning Processes (zoning) - the next set of readings. This is due Thursday of week 5, during the Planning Process subject. Because of its date, the questions reflect only the first part of the process reading. A reminder of this OP is also in the Process section which follows.

Option A
A planner's job includes ensuring social equity.

Planning that encompasses all interest groups takes too much time and is counterproductive to getting the job done.

Zoning is a necessary evil.

Planning theory reinvents the wheel. Functionality is the most important element.
