1. Locate web resources on photosynthesis. In one paragraph in your own words, please answer the following questions: Why are scientists still studying the processes of photosynthesis? What are the areas of current research? Where is the research being conducted? Remember to provide the addresses of the sites you visited. 4 points.

2. Find a web site that refers to the concept of “keystone species.” What example of a keystone species does this site use? What are some of the efforts being utilized to maintain this species in its habitat. Please answer in one paragraph and cite the addresses of the web sources you used. 2 points.

3. Explain how the finches (Darwin's, of course) reduced competition for food resources. Find the web reference for Peter and Rosemary Grant's research on these finches. Write two paragraphs outlining how the Grants conduct their research. 5 points.
