The interdisciplinary minor in Asian Studies is six courses (18 hours
minimum), selected in consultation with an Asian Studies advisor. There is one
required course: ASN 108, Gateways to Asia. Each student must take courses
from 3 different disciplines in the minor. The student's program would be greatly
strengthened by including the study of an Asian language, two courses of which
may be counted among the six course minor.
