Dr. Claudia Jurowski

Claudia Jurowski is an associate professor in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Managment. She earned a Ph.D. degree from Virginia Polytechnic Insititute and State University, an MBA from Oklahoma City University, an MA in French from Miami University and a BSEd from Bowling Green State University. Along with more than 20 years teaching experience, Dr. Jurowski has owned and operated her own resort business, and developed and administered a destination marketing organization. 

Her interests are focused on helping students reach their full potential and conducting research on tourism development in rural communities. She has published articles in both academic and trade journals. She teaches courses on tourism development, research, and international operations in a variety of media including web-based, interactive television and satelite broadcast.
