Logging into your Continuing Education course
You just signed up for one of NAU Online's Continuing Education courses at the ce.nau.edu website.
You paid your registration fee, created a user id and password (be sure to write those down somewhere safe!), and clicked the orange Blackboard Learn button to complete the enrollment process. Now you're ready to access your online course.
Here's how to log in. In your web browser, go to http://bblearn.nau.edu (this link will open in a new tab or window)
Please note: Even if you're a current NAU student, you'll log in using a slightly different process for this course.
On the login screen for Blackboard, click on the Guest Sign In link to the lower left of the usual Sign In button.
You're going to sign in as a guest, using the username (your personal e-mail address) and password you entered when you registered and paid for this course, on the NAU Online continuing education page, https://ce.nau.edu/course-list/
Troubleshooting:
If the login doesn't work, it's possible you didn't click on the orange Blackboard Learn button when you first registered. We're seeing this occasionally and plan to improve this interface but, for now, if you can't log in, try this:
- On the NAU Continuing Education page, go to your course in the course list, and select your class
- Click the Sign In link in the top menu, and enter the username and password you created when you first signed up. If you can't remember your password, contact the Student Technology Center.
- Click on the Next Steps button
- Click on the orange Blackboard Learn button, which triggers the creation of an account in our system. In a few minutes, try the login process again in Blackboard.
After you have successfully logged into Bb Learn, you will see a list of courses in which you are enrolled. Be sure to select the correct category from the pull-down menu, such as Summer 2020.
Please note that while the course you have enrolled in should be listed, you won't be able to enter the course until the start date. For Summer Session II, 2020, for example, the start date is July 6.
If you have any enrollment-related questions, the Student Technology Center should be able to help. Tell them that you are enrolled with a "Guest account" because this is a non-credit course run through NAU Online Continuing Education.
