I am presently looking for motivated graduate and undergraduate students interested in working with me on their senior thesis, or Master’s thesis research. Nearly all of my Master’s students pursue their degrees from the
Geology Department, and they interact regularly with students in the
Quaternary Sciences Program. Incoming graduate students receive two years of support: The first year is typically as a Teaching Assistant, and the second year as a Research Assistant through NSF and other external support. As a Research Assistant, graduate students devote their time to their thesis project. I also have funding through the
Amino Acid Geochronology Lab and the
Sedimentary Records of Environmental Change Lab to support student research.
I am currently recruiting new Master’s students to work on the following projects:
Please contact me or any of my graduate students for more information about the graduate program at Northern Arizona University, or about these projects. NAU has a great deal to offer students interested in studying the Quaternary, and you will find that Flagstaff is a beautiful town.
