The Crumbtrail Links let you know where you are, structurally, in the course. The crumbtrail appears just beneath the course title on each page of a WebCT course. In this example, from the homepage, the student went to the class section, then the section for week 3, and finally to a topic within week three of the class called, "Important Concepts of Noninfectious Disease Epidemiology". In order to return to the previous screen (week 3), the student just clicks on the last crumb in the crumbtrail (week 3).

Caution! When using your browser's navigation controls, the crumbtrail may not accurately reflect your position in the course website. For this reason, it is recommended that you not use your 'back' or 'forward' buttons in your browser while using WebCT.
