Assignments, Quizzes, and Tests...Using the Assignment Dropbox
|
Some of your assignments may require you to work with an external tool such as a word processor, presentation tool (ex. Powerpoint), html editor (ex. FrontPage or Dreamweaver), or graphics program (ex. photoshop). When your assignment is complete, and ready to be submitted, you can use the Assignment Dropbox to submit your work. Any type of file can be uploaded to and downloaded from the Assignment Dropbox, including but not limited to articles, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, graphics, or executable files. The date and time each assignment is submitted will be recorded. Accessing the assignment
dropbox can vary from course to course. In general, if your course utilizes
this feature, you will find it in the Assignments section.
The above image shows the default Icon for the Assignments section. However, your instructor may choose to use a different icon for this section. When you click on the assignments icon, you will be taken to a list of assignments for your course. Choose the assignment you wish to submit, and click on it. You will then see a screen with two buttons:
Clicking on Submit Assignment will enable you to browse, on your computer, for the file you wish to submit. This is the Assignment Dropbox. Clicking on Student Files enables you to manage the files you have uploaded to the Assignment Dropbox.
