The Left-Hand Navigation Bar provides shortcuts to various components of your course that are selected by your professor. Your professor may also choose not to have a left hand navigation bar in your course. If this navigation component is not visible when you initially log on to your course, your instructor has disabled it.

As a student, you may opt to hide the left-hand navigation bar in order to maximize the viewable area on your monitor. If you would like to hide the left-hand navigation bar, simply click on the 'Hide Navigation' text that appears just below the NAU logo.
