Sequence of
Activities: 1. Read the story "If You Give a Mouse a
Cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff out loud to the class.
2.
Have the students write down on paper their thoughts about the story
and also any details of the story that they remember.
3. Take
students to the computer lab and teach them how to use kidspiration
using examples and explaining to them step by step how to use the
program.
4. Have the students create their own cognitive map
using kidspiration. Have them create a map that deals with the
sequence of events that took place in the
story.
