I am Ellen S. Grabarek with the Dental Hygiene Department at Northern Arizona University. I am the project director for the Del E. Webb Homebound Program, a training program for dental hygiene students in the treatment of patients who are medically, mentally or physically compromised and have difficulty accessing traditional dental care. I also teach Dental Public Health, co-teach Oral Medicine and Clinical Dental Hygiene.
My goal as a teacher of dental hygiene is to stimulate your interest in life long learning in dental public health and special care. I hope that we can learn from each other and from the clients and communities we serve.
My husband, Tom (a dentist), and I have three children. For fun, we hike, ski, and watch our children's sports activities.
