About the Book

The Beavans photoNo Impact Man is the account of a yearlong experiment to live eco-effectively. During the year, Colin Beavan, and his family, swore off plastic bags, toxins, electricity, and products that came in disposable packing. The Beavans ate organic, biked everywhere and climbed countless flights of stairs. From no take-out, to no toilet paper, you will be swept up in this funny and consciousness-raising story of how one family attempts to make zero impact on the environment. Through No Impact Man, the reader will find countless opportunities to make changes to their own consumption and habits and find that less can really be more.
