List of things to put in a paper. You must use all of them in your quadratic article.

- figure with caption referenced in the text

Things to look out for:

- Use the AMS article style.
- Use the built in spell checker.
- Use a margin of 1in. Definitely not larger than 1.5 inches.
- Use 12pt font size.
- Examples, Sections, Theorems are capitalized when you cross reference them.
- Citations cannot be outside of a sentence, after the period.
- A formula alone is not a sentence. In a paper everything must be a sentence.
- Make sure you indicate the logical connection between lines of a calculation.
- Use \cdots between operations like "+ \cdots +".
- Use \ldots between commas like ", \ldots ,".
- Inline variable names must be in math modes.
- In a definition the term you define must be in italic font.
