Coordinated several research projects investigating cardiovascular disease risk factors with emphasis on lipids and lipid altering enzymes. Also, conducted contract cardiovascular stress testing in various healthy and at risk populations.

Park Ranger: Flight Paramedic (May 2005- August 2007) – Grand Canyon National Park:
Part-time seasonal (summers only) employment working for GCNP Emergency Services.  Duties include ground and flight medical operations as well as Search and Rescue missions.

Professional Ski Patrol- (November 2002- current) – Arizona Snowbowl Ski Area
Part-time seasonal (winter) employment working as a paramedic ski patroller.  Duties include advanced life support medical care, search and rescue, and avalanche control.

Paramedic (June 2003 – current) – Flagstaff Medical Center: Guardian Medical Transport Part-time (mostly summers) work as primary paramedic for local 911 emergency medical service.

Instructor - (May 1993 – August 2002) Challenge Works: An experience based training and development program. Facilitate workshops on leadership and development using an outdoor ropes course and other facilities. (Part time)

Senior Paramedic (Aug 1990 - Aug 1999) - Rural/Metro Corp. & Cypress Creek EMS. In charge paramedic on an advanced life support ambulance providing 911 service to several counties. Responsible for all aspects of patient care. (6 years full time experience, 3 years part time)
