Research Interests My research interests are focused on using earthquake seismology to study tectonics and on applying shallow geophysics to understand groundwater systems. I am specifically interested in crustal and upper mantle structure, subduction zone processes, and seismic anisotropy. Much of my work focuses on studying the impact of subduction on the tectonic evolution of the North and South American Cordillera and on the groundwater systems in northern Arizona.
