Anne Hart, PT, PhD

Greetings and welcome to Northern Arizona University in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona, USA. I am an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program in the School of Health Professions. My teaching areas of interest are: neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, sport as rehabilitation, and sport for persons with disabilities.

My research areas of interest are: sport as rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, the Paralympic Movement; fitness/wellness/sports for persons with disabilities, particularly wheelchair rugby; and curriculum development and educational technology related to physical therapy and health-related occupations;.

Personal interests include traveling, martial arts, walking/hiking/tramping, weight lifting, rugby union, women's basketball especially the University of Illinois and NAU, reading, and music.
