"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow mindedness... Broad, wholesome, charitable views of man and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one's little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."
--Mark Twain

I have been fortunate to travel often in my research and scholarly pursuits
related to sport and disability. Many of my travels have been outside of the
USA and learning about other cultures has been invaluable for me professionally
and personally. I am especially curious about the amazingly wide variety in
how different cultures view disability.
