The Three Mausketeers

Jasper-April 1999
Jasper came to us in February 1997.  His family was moving to Germany and needed to find a home for him. Though we weren't planning to get another cat for some time, we couldn't resist and we are very glad we didn't. He is a mostly black rascal about 6 1/2 years old with a fondness for the top of the refrigerator. He  used to insist that 3 o'clock or 4:30 were good times to get up and feed him so he often spent part of the night locked out of the bedroom.  Now he can usually wait until 5:30 or 5:55 so he only gets thrown off the bed once or twice.

Muon-April 1999
Muon arrived on July 13, 1997, a supposedly 10 week old refugee from the Humane Society.  We got him to be a companion to Jasper and they have been inseparable from the beginning.  He chose us by grabbing at us from his cage.  He was just a little ball of fur who has grown into a solid 14 pound cat.  The vet said when we first brought him in, "Oh, he'll never be a very big cat."

Voxel-April 1999

Voxel showed up in our backyard over the 1998 Memorial Day weekend.  He was very skinny and had a bad case of ear mites.  The ear mites are long gone and he is no longer skinny.  Voxel's favorite activities are wrestling with Jasper and Muon, eating, and destroying furniture.
