Objectives:

*    To understand the roles and restrictions of representatives of different agencies in interagency teams

*    To identify issues and barriers to interagency collaboration not related to funding and to consider strategies to overcome these barriers

*    To identify issues in group decision-making involving turf and money and to consider procedures for making group financial decisions


To complete this assignment successfully, you should:

1.    Consider the learning objectives listed above as you read the following article.

2.    For each of the three objectives find examples in the article, site experiences from your job,  or create a situation that will demonstrate your understanding of the challenges and benefits of interagency collaboration.  If you know someone who is working for an agency you can ask them for their perspective and experiences with interagency collaboration. 

3.        This assignment is worth 10 points and due by midnight on Sunday, March 31st.
