Objectives:

*     To expose you to alternative methods of service planning and delivery

*     To raise your awareness of how person-centered planning can be applicable to individuals of various ages and situations


To complete this assignment successfully, you should:

DIS 499 and DIS 599 STUDENTS:

1.    Read both of these articles.  

DIS 499 STUDENTS ONLY:

1.   After you have read the articles write separate comprehensive reports for EACH of them.  Include reference to each of the eight hallmarks and sub-sections (as presented in this week's lesson).  Point out how the hallmarks are reflected in the articles.  If they are not present offer suggestions on how they might be included.  

2.   Each article response is worth 25 points.

3.   Send your responses to each article as separate emails. Include the author's name at the end of the assignment text in the subject box.  This assignment is due by Sunday, April 14th.  Since you won't have any assignments for the week of 4/15 - 21st, I encourage you to regularly check the VCC to read each of the graduate student reports.
