Background and Qualifications

Born, raised and educated in East Los Angeles, California
-
Cultural background: My paternal grandparents are Yaqui from San Luis,
Arizona; my maternal grandparents are Pueblo from Doña Ana, New
Mexico. Ethnically, I was raised as a Chicano or Mexican-American.
