Hiking - Mostly day and weekend hikes, I don't like marathons

• The USGS Geopgraphic Names Information System provides a great query form for finding the location of just about any feature you could imagine. What I like most is that system will give you the name of the 7.5 minute map(s) covering the location of the feature you are looking for.
• Find the distance between two latitudes and longitudes.

Fishing - I like fly fishing and most other types of fishing.  My fishing page has pictures from some of my fishing trips.

• I like fly fishing a Lee's Ferry below Glen Canyon Dam at Lake Powell.  Two good sources of information for Lee's Ferry are Lee's Ferry Anglers and Marble Canyon Outfitters.

Mountain biking - same comments as for Hiking

River Running - mostly canoeing and kayaking, but I also do occasional raft trips.

The USGS Water Resources provides a great real time stream flow data which is great for checking the flow on your favorite river.

Snow Skiing - both alpine and cross country
