RIO DE FLAG SMUDGED
DESCRIPTION: same as Rio De Flag Brown except smudged interiors.
WALLS: Thickness: bowls, 3.5 to 6 mm; average about 4 mm.
SURFACE: Color: exterior, brownish; interior black (smudged), fire clouds common.
FORMS: bowls only
DECORATION: none
COMPARISON: Woodruff Smudged: temper almost invisible, sand grains rare, texture core, fine; lightly slipped on interior.
RANGE: Recorded only from the San Francisco Mountains, Coconino County, Arizona.
