  Post Essay: Exploring Environmental Issues

Please time yourselves for 40 minutes and answer the following questions in as much depth as possible. Please do not go beyond 40 minutes. Please be sure to leave enough time to attend to each question (approximately 5 minutes per question). This essay is required but will NOT be graded. Completing the essay counts as part of your VCC grade.

The essay aims to tap your understanding of environmental issues as well as assess your critical thinking and writing skills. There are no right answers, but there are stronger ways to think through these questions and to communicate about them through your writing. A separate consent form will be sent to you by a graduate assistant to request your permission to include your response for the research project on web versus traditional classroom learning.

6. Which solution would you like to see applied? What is the basis for your conclusion?

7. What might you do to contribute to this solution?

8. What are the drawbacks of this solution compared to others for our society? Would you consider another solution?
