Cultural Influences on Perception

Through connections to Penna’s chapter on wildlife and the on-line lesson, discuss how YOUR understanding of animals has been “socially constructed.” How has your culture influenced how you SEE animals? Do you see pets differently that other “wild” animals? What has created these ways of seeing? Share your experiences and understanding with your fellow classmates. Ask each other questions and try to create a dynamic dialogue with one another. Post at least twice for credit.
