In the on-line lesson I have identified five main themes that Suzuki and Dressel work with in the first three chapters of From Naked Ape to Superspecies. Choose one theme. Please DO NOT all choose the same one or two themes, review each other’s responses and determine which themes need to be covered.
Possible themes include:
1. Anthropocentrism
2. Interdependancy
3. Overconsumption and Overpopulation
4. Geological vs. Human Time
5. Environmental Language
In your first posting discuss what you found interesting or important about the theme as discussed in the on-line lecture, in the reading and in the internet links.
In your second posting, respond to your fellow classmates. In this response, be sure to not only respond to those classmates that discuss the same theme as you, but respond to discussions around at least one of the other themes as well.
