Exploring Power, Social Control and Resistance

What insights do you draw from the readings, “Triangulated Power and the Environment,” “Malthusian Orthodoxy and the Myth of ZPG,” “TEK Wars” regarding power and the uses of social control to gain material resources off of Native lands? How have Native tribes resisted such forms of control? Discuss the readings in ways that highlight important insights. Support your ideas with specific examples from the readings. Pose questions to each other and develop a dynamic dialogue. Post at least twice for credit.
