Program Review of Liberal Studies: External Evaluators Report
September 18-21, 2011
The NAU Liberal Studies Program is undergoing a periodic Program Review that, in fundamental ways, replicates the expectations of the 7-year Program Review process applied to all non-accredited degree programs throughout NAU.
Liberal Studies is an academic program at NAU, albeit more complex and overarching than specific degree programs. However, Liberal Studies has not yet conducted periodic self study as do all other programs for their 7-year review process or outside accreditation cycles.
What: A Comprehensive Program Review of Liberal Studies - similar to those conducted for all academic programs.
When: Spring and Fall 2011
Why: Help us determine if the program is achieving its goals for student learning and to help us make thoughtful, data-informed, and comprehensive recommendations to guide the Program's future.

- To more fully explain the Program Review Process

- Honors Program
- First Year Seminar
