Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene: Phoenix or an Online Degree Completion Program

The Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program (BSDHCP) is specifically designed for dental hygienists with an Associate's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Dental Hygiene. The BSDHCP will enhance your theoretical and clinical knowledge and promote career advancement in management, education, public health, sales, marketing and research. The degree is also aimed at those who want the option to move into a new field related to Dental Hygiene, pursue a Master's Degree, or who want to strengthen professional skills in communication, evidence-based practice, computer use, and statistics.

This program consists 300/400 level college courses. Upon completion of these upper-division courses, you will receive your bachelor's degree.

The BSDHCP program requires completion of a statistics course above and beyond the required 30 hours for the completion of the program. If you have already completed a statistics course, you are welcome to see if the course meets the university's statistics 270 course. Please contact Kelly Stonebergerfor further information about your stats course and the approval process. NAU will be offering statistics 270 online to all distance learning students beginning starting in spring 2009.

Degree Completion Program students need to complete the Distance Learning application. If you do not complete the appropriate application you will be classified under the wrong student plan and campus.
