LocationOral mucosa not covering bone Often in posterior region of oral cavity

Clinical Appearance
Painful, discrete, round to oval, yellowish-white ulcers with a erythematous halo Greater than 1 cm in diameter Deeper than aphthous minor May last several weeks Often causes scarring |
Treatment
Topical or systemic corticosteoids Biopsy to rule out other causes
