Topic Objectives:
This topic focuses on the design of wall elements that resist the diaphragm moment. In addition you will be introduced to load paths and connection detailing; necessary information to ensure that your diaphragm elements are adequately connected together to perform as a complete system.

Topic Directions:
  1. Study the three sets of on-line lecture notes.
  2. Complete the reading assignment.
  3. Come to class on day five prepared to discuss this topic.
  4. Complete the homework, diaphragm 2, and submit as directed in the homework schedule.
