Entertaining Education
Through insightful dialogues and traditional songs, señor Morris encourages oral production and class participation. Educación española integrates cultural diversity into the lessons through the introduction of indigenous food, art, history, and geography of many Spanish-speaking countries.
Educación española is a two-year curriculum. The first year (lessons 1-50) is required to be taken before the second year’s material. The second year (lessons 51-100) is a continuation that builds on the foundation laid in the previous lessons and will be released in the near future.
The first year (50 lessons) will be broadcast on the DISH NetworkTM on the Universityhouse Channel 9411. Please check our broadcast schedule or local listings for the most current broadcast dates and times.
Complete Curriculum
The teacher’s guides, which directly support the instructional videotapes, are described by many of our teachers as the most comprehensive they have seen in a distance education program.
Educación española can be used in the classroom by either Spanish-speaking or non-Spanish-speaking teachers to guide the students through the well-planned lessons. It has also proven to be an effective complement to a live, in-class Spanish teacher.
The purchase price for the first year of educación española is $1,750.00 plus shipping and handling. This price includes:
- 50 lessons on videotapes; lessons average 45 minutes each
- 600-page Teacher’s Guide includes: lesson plans, vocabulary lists, blackline masters for student activity sheets, songs, tests, answer keys, and more
