So you want to start your own restaurant?

Where would you start? What are the different things you would need to consider? Who will be involved? What type of restaurant/bar? Menu? What and how to purchase/store/inventory? Keeping food safe? Service? Training? SOP'S? Hours of operation?

For this assignment I would like you to think of a restaurant you want to open. Discuss and write up the answers to above questions. These are just a start. Think of all the different areas in the restaurant.

Do you know someone who opened a restaurant? How did they do it? What are the obstacles? What are the rewards?
