Skill 6: Giving Helpful Directions

In the last skill, you learned to handle questions and requests like a pro. You learned the importance of listening well, making sure you understand the question, and repeating back the basics of the question. Applying these steps will also help you give your guests accurate and useful directions.

Helping your guests get quickly and safely to their destination, whether it is on your property and in the surrounding community, demonstrates a positive Service Attitude and reflects well on you and your property.

Try to be so familiar with your property and community that you never have to say, "I'm not sure where that is" or "I don't know."
