- Noah Bedrin (BM in Saxophone Performance 2004) is the newest member of the Tetraphonics Saxophone Quartet (Germany)
- Dannel Espinoza was named National Second Prize Winner in the 2007 Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Competition
- Josh Meyers (BM in Saxophone Performance 2006) and Noah Bedrin (BM in Saxophone Performance 2004) were named National First Prize Winners in the Music Teachers National Association Chamber Music Competition 2007.
- Dannel Espinoza, NAU Saxophonist, was named First Prize Winner in the Southwest Region Collegiate Artist Solo Competition sponsored by Music Teachers National Association 2006-2007
- Dannel Espinoza, NAU Saxophonist, won the 2006-07 and 2005-06 Arizona State Collegiate Artist Solo Competition sponsored by Music Teachers National Association (winner two years in a row)
- Dannel Espinoza, NAU Saxophonist, won 2nd prize at the Tucson Symphony Concerto Competition 2006
- The NAU Saxophone Quartet won the 2005-06 and 2004-05 Arizona Music Teachers National Association Chamber Music Competition (Two years in a row)
