There are many chat rooms besides the one for the class.

Feel free to look around until you find the chatroom that is best for you. It is a good experience to try chatting, and it is a requirement of the course to connect and write a message in a chat room.

It is not a requirement that you continue to chat. That is completely up to you. If you do find a great place to exchange ideas, feel free to post the address in the WebCT and tell others in the course why you like it.
