Using the table above as a guide, write out a list of characteristics. For instance, if you choose Rain Man, you are examining autism. So, first list the general characteristics of a youngster diagnosed with autism.

Next make a list of the characteristics of Raymond in the movie, the characteristics portrayed. Use the text book below to send both lists of characteristics.

Develop a one paragraph critique, discussing the flawlessness of the portrayal. What specific things were most accurate? What were global inaccuracies (not likely to be true of anyone)? What kinds of idiosyncrasies - things that only described this one individual - did you encounter?

3. Finally how many ears do you give it? Up or down?
