Assignment 4: Personal Power History

To complete this assignment successfully, you should:

1. Write a brief personal power history.

  • Look for clues about how you are autonomous and heteronomous
  • Can you identify the points discussed in question one with respect to yourself?
  • Were you different at home than at school?
  • With one parent rather than the other?
  • With a significant other, with children, students, siblings
  • Look for ways you balance life and address them as part of the power and control issues.
  • Finally, look for one way you would celebrate your methods for coping and make a goal for one way you want to cope differently
Rubric

Any effort to address these issues will be satisfactory. These are personal questions, and internal dialogue may be more comfortable and meaningful than sharing such personal ideas over the "net."
