  1. Read several of the sample lessons provided for teacher support.

  2. Consider some of the process skills you would like to learn. If you have not considered this as a teaching possibility, make a list of several things that happen to you and ways that you respond that make you feel quilty, that are annoying or cut into teaching / learning time.

  3. Pair one or more of the teacher support lessons (capstone) with your own personal wish list for growth and development and write out a professional growth objective.

  4. Use one or more lessons to enhance your professionalism, teaching skills or pro-social choices. Report that you completed the process.

  5. As an extra opportunity, you may wish to develop a new lesson that would facilitate teacher growth. Feel free to share that with the professor. If interested, pass the ideas along through a teacher chat room.


Rubric

Perused the available capstone lessons. Identify an area for personal growth, apply the lesson and then report on completion of the process. As an extra opportunity, you might wish to develop your own professional lesson to address some of the teaching issues you see. Once you have developed the ideas, feel free to pass these ideas along to peers through on line teacher or education room chats.
