
English 380, American Folklore, is a Liberal Studies Course in the Cultural Understanding block. The course includes an extensive set of folklore sound recordings and photographs from a wide variety of American folk groups. English 380 is not writing intensive and does not fulfill writing intensive requirements. Taught in Blackboard Vista, the course is self contained with all required readings and audio materials included in the posting, and there are no textbooks. Evaluation is in terms of a series of objective quizzes and tests and journal entries.
