My Family History

With the exception of the RUMERY line, all of my great grandparents immigrated to the United States from Denmark, Germany, Sweden or Canada. Samuel Rumery, my great great grandfather, was born in Vermont, his father in Maine and his mother in Canada. Sylvia Ann, Samuel's wife, was born in New York as were her parents. According to her son Elmer's marriage certificate, Sylvia's family surname was JOHNSON.
