Corrections to IMD2

Chapter 5

p.106, Problem 1, first word should be "Any" not "And."
Problem 2, the last few words in line 5 should read "...moves
        to a chord a..."

p.108, Solution 4, remove the sharp sign from the A major chord (4th
        chord in B ma:)

Solution 5, the first and third chord in F ma: are viių7,
not viio7. The E flat and G flat carry over from the first to
        the third chord.

p.109, The label "V7-5" should not be confused with the way of indicating
a V7 with an omitted 5th, V7 (-5). The label is included here
because the minus sign is used to represent minor or lowered note in
        some quarters.
Example 7, the complete label of the fourth measure is the same
as the label in the fourth measure of Example 6.

p. 115, Example 1,: the title is incorrect. It should be
        Fantasia in C minor, K. 475, Mozart (1785) mm. 1-2

p. 116, below Example 20, omit "and fifth" from the first sentence.
It should read "The German sixth is a viio65/V with a
        lowered third."

p. 123, Example 26, in measure 3, an advisory flat sign can be
to the E in the bass clef.

p. 127, Analysis 1, the last 8th note of the first line, the E natural
collides with the previous note and should be moved to the right.

Chapter 6

p. 131, add a sentence to the beginning of the chapter. "In a closely related
key, the new tonic chord is a chord from the original key, unchanged
by the new key signature. A chromatic modulation occurs if the new tonic
chord is changed by the new key signature."

p. 131, next to last line, the iio, the "o" is far to high and
        should be moved down.

p. 135, Example 8, "Original key is minor" not major.

p. 136, Example 9, the V under the 3rd chord should not be
        enclosed in parentheses.

p. 140, Example 19, the first chord in the new key is a V7, not
a I64. The chord in the following measure is a V65/V,
        not a V6/V.

p. 144, Solution/Problem 10 is the correct version of Solution/Problem 3.
        Omit 3.

p. 147, Solution 11, last chord, the C should be natural.

p. 148, Solution/Problem 14, the last note in the soprano should be
        a D flat.
        Solution 15, the 3rd chord should be a V7.

p. 150, Problem 20, modulate to VII, not vii.
        Solution/Problem 21, the next to last chord is a V not V7.
The last bass note can also move up to E.

p. 156-57, Problem 31, see Example 17 not 29. The last few beats of
        Problem/Solution 31 should be

p. 157, Solution 32, bar 2, the label is viio43 not viių42.
In bar 5, the label is viio43, not viio42.

p. 158, Problem 34, the last part of the first sentence should read
"...Doubly Augmented sixth (enharmonic spelling of German
        sixth) in the second key."

p. 159, Solution 33, the first chord is a I64. The last chord of the
        first line is a viio7/ii not a viio7/IV.
        Solution 34, bar 2, the progression is I - V7/IV - DA6.
"DA6" is a doubly augmented sixth, the enharmonic version of
the German sixth. The tied soprano should be E flat.

p. 160, Solution 35, I wish to add that the second measure of each line
is a prolongation of ii. The progression could also be written

        V7 - Gr6 - Fr6 - V
