Walked up to Miss McQueeney's desk all tight-bellied and whispered
I gotta go to the restroom she looked at me said
It's not time yet go sit down
told her I had to go
she just said
siddown
so I peed all over the seat
then she yelled
called me a bad boy
told me I had to sit in it all morning
at noon I ran all the way home
it was cold with wet legs
I snuck in and stuffed my new blue dress pants under the bureau
never told nobody.
