Professional Development Seminar

This 3 day seminar occuring after the first year of didactic instruction is an experience which allows students to explore the professional domain of physical therapy. The forum occurs in an off campus setting and is in many parts student directed. Common topics of discussion include contemporary issues in physical therapy, physical therapy as a profession, principles for fostering lifelong learning, and the affective component of providing patient care.
